Record Entries for National Schools Championships in 2010
The 2009/10 Center Parcs National Schools Championships is now well underway with a record breaking 1,695 schools embarking on a journey to make it through to the finals and ultimately become tournament champions. We are thrilled to see the popularity of this tournament increasing year on year and this year a record 22,000 youngsters will take part in what is one of the country’s biggest schools tournaments.
For BADMINTON England tournament organisers, this event gives youngsters a greater incentive to play badminton by providing a high level competitive opportunity within, and between, schools; it also assists with BADMINTON England’s ongoing talent identification programme.
The regional rounds get underway at the beginning of March when teams will be fighting it out for their place in the Center Parcs National Schools Championship finals.
